We have an abundance of adoptable furbabies for you this week:  Nov 13-14

Meet Thatch... Thatch is a loving 50lb great Pyrenees/lab/pit mix who is almost 2-years-old! He is a sweetheart who loves meeting new people and smothering them in kisses. Thatch loves any and all adventures outside. If you even walk by his leash, he is at your side with those beautiful eyes, ready to go! And once you are outside, his beautiful coat turns heads. He would do best with a fenced-in yard as a safe place to get his zoomies out! Inside, he loves to nap and roams the house free without any problems, though he is also crate trained and does not mind a crate nap. He can spend a whole working day at home without issue and will greet you with a loud yawn and a kiss. Thatch is reactive on the leash to other dogs, so he needs more support before he can greet other dogs. He has hopes of making a few close doggy friends with patient and persistent training. He is currently showing improvement on an anti-anxiety medication once daily, which he takes without problem at breakfast. Thatch has not had exposure to cats, and he passes kids daily without problem on the city streets. He has made massive strides in leash training and is responsive to several commands to stay safe around busy city streets. Thatch is playful, sweet, and ready to share his love with you. He is a good nap buddy on a rainy day, but will also gladly jump in some puddles with you, too! He has taken to clicker training and loves learning new skills. He knows basic obedience and tricks like high five, shake, spin, wave, sit, side, wait, roll over, touch, and has been introduced to buttons so he can talk back! With structure, love, and dedication to his training, he will continue the immense amount of progress he has already made on his way to being the most lovable dog in your neighborhood.
